featured project - Spy School Sneaky Surveillance for SmartLab Toys
Taking a more playful spin on espionage and the science of spying, Spy School Sneaky Surveillance is a quirky kit that immerses users into a Spy vs. Spy -esque world. Working with a team of product developers and writers, I took the lead in creating components and decoy packaging to enhance the "sneaky" fun of undercover play.
Inside the retail sleeve was a kit designed to look boring and nondescript. We created the world of BREK, an international intelligence organization who worked for the good of the world against its evil counterpart: Grunderson Spycorp, LLC. The world of BREK included a global corporation which provided boring and sometimes ridiculous goods and services as a cover to their clandestine operations.
My role included creating multitudes of fake products, advertisements, and other components which incorporated a goofy sense of humor into every inch of printed material. The result was a robust kit full of easter eggs and playful references that kids and parents are both able to enjoy.
